This website has been designed to help companies in Cheshire and the surrounding counties get the most from the web.
If your website looks great, but is not performing as it should then the following pages will give you an insight into why that might be.
The idea behind Internet Marketing Cheshire
As a specialist in Search engine optimisation and email marketing I have watched many businesses spend thousands developing websites only to see them crash and burn on submission to the major search engines.
I’ve watched companies purchase email lists from data brokers without first communicating with their current customer base. And then blast them with ill conceived campaigns that generate nothing but opt outs and spam complaints.
Why do companies do this? because most don’t have anyone in house with the knowledge and experience to ensure that these maistakes are avoided. And as the popularity of the Internet continues to grow they feel pressured into renting more email lists, and spending thousands on Google adwords only to watch most of their money go to waste.
This blog will help to dispel some myths, and in plain english, explain how to use Internet marketing effectively. Hopefully, ensuring that everyone who reads it will gain something.
What is Internet Marketing and why is it important?
Internet marketing is the process of generating web traffic to one web page from another. It combines search engine marketing, whether organic or paid for, with banner advertising, online PR, blogging, social networking, link building, email marketing and anything else that generates links that create a steady flow of quality traffic.
45% of Europeans now spend more time surfing the web than watching television, and this year in the UK we will spend nearly £2000 per household online. Almost 70% of all Uk businesses have a website cumulatively generating over £1 Billion in revenue in this year alone.
Over the next five years online spending in the UK is set to increase by over 75%. This while spending on other marketing channels is reducing year on year. The dotcom bust of the nineties is long gone and with over 60% of the UK population now surfing at broadband speeds it has never been easier to use your website to generate income for your business.
